Board of Trustees

As a trustee, the members of the committee serve as the governance body of the organization. The board will set policy and work to define the activities of the organization. Each trustee shall contribute financially to the operation of the organization based on contribution or membership scales as agreed upon by the board. Trustees will be encouraged to give or help source corporate and individual sponsorship.

Funding

In principle, UIEC members will be volunteers. UIEC is a non-profit and will be funded by its members and sponsors.

The Organization

The organization is private and non-governmental but was established under the direction and Invitation of the Governor of the State of Utah.

A steering committee is executed as follows:

  • Executive committee/board
  • Wider community based advisory board
  • Professional services committee
  • Vertical committees ( at a later date )
